Management and employees are aware that natural resources are limited and, therefore, must be used in a responsible manner.The group's environment officer is responsible for this subject. The group aims to minimise the energy and raw material requirements of the operating entities by
- Selecting locations on the basis of the ease with which they can be reached by public transport
- Instructing suppliers to deliver environmentally sound materials
- Setting up world-wide guidelines for using office material capable of being recycled
- Ensuring that employees separate waste
- Constantly optimising IT systems in order to implement administration which, as far as possible, is electronic and uses reduced volumes of paper.
