French CD-Program
The French-CD Program of Hypo Real Estate Bank International was issued on 30 September 2004 with a total volume of EUR 3 billion. The new volume since 13 January 2006 has been EUR 5 billion. French CDs (i.e. short-term bearer bonds with maturity periods of one week to one year, can be issued within the framework of this internationally standardised contract.
The Program was rated by the rating agencies Standard & Poor's and Moody's as A-2 and Prime 1 respectively.

In 2005 Commerzbank was appointed as official dealer on the French CD-Program.
