Collineo Asset Management GmbH (“Collineo”) is the Bank’s Dortmund based asset management subsidiary. Its activities are a natural extension of Hypo Public Finance Bank’s capital markets competencies. The core business of Collineo is an advisory service on innovative capital market products for institutional clients in Germany and abroad. Collineo focuses on the management of portfolios which concentrate on MBS (mortgage backed securities), ABS (asset backed securities) and CDOs (collateralized debt obligations) on MBS in Europe and the US. Through its successful track record, Collineo is recognised as a leading player in Europe.Collineo has received a license for financial portfolio management, investment advice, investment broking, contract broking and placement business from the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungen (BaFin).
